A Casa das Hortensias - Caminhos de Santiago (Minho) is a local, family owned, house. We opened as a way to share our passion for hospitality and provide a comfortable retreat for travelers. Our B&B is nestled in the scenic countryside, surrounded by lush gardens and relaxing environment.

We offer a variety of rooms to suit every need, from cozy and intimate to twin and double rooms with shared bathroom. All of our rooms are beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishings and amenities. The shared bathroom caters 1 dedicated sink for each of the rooms, allowing you to have a certain degree of your own space in the shared facility.

There is so much to see and do in the area surrounding our B&B. Strategically located between Valença do Minho and Vila Nova de Cerveira it offers so many possibilities! At walking distance you can enjoy bathing in the river Minho or walking along the Eco-pista. And less than 30 minutes drive, there are so many options, we suggest you look into our blog and social media posts to get inspired.

When the weather allows, we occasionally cater cooking event with local chefs and sit everyone at the table to enjoy the best of our local cuisine. After all in Portugal, our love language is: food.
